Re: Help with Odds calculation for craps...
NOTE: You'll need to bet a bit more to break even.
First bet: 12 & 12. If you win, +14. If you lose, -24.
Second bet: 24 & 24. If you win, you only net +4 -- 28 for the win, minus 24 from the...

Re: Who are the smartest OOTERS?
IQ scores are useless without stating the test that was taken, its SD, and (for childhood tests) the age at which it was taken. Adult IQ tests are primarily SD-based and are frequently re-normed....

Re: Table selection
First Available (non-smoking). If it sucks after a couple orbits, I leave and find another one. A good table has:
1) two or more loosey-stupids (40+ VPIP, predictable post)
2) three or more...

Re: Taxes and quitting while you\'re even.
There are two things going on here, but the result is the same in both cases.
Summary: lower AGI is better.
Case 1
If every session is very close to your average session win, then that means...

Re: Frustrating... should I go back?
Sims that I ran said that one should expect a 100BB downswing once every 12,000 hands. Expect. It's normal. Maybe you're just running bad.
But looking at your game is a good idea, and others have...

Aggressiveness is Aggro/Aggro+Calls, where Aggro = bets and raises. Increasing the rating is simple: never call, either raise or fold. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

So I've been registered here for nearly three years, and in that time, I'm still at the micros. I've put in maybe 150k hands so far, which isn't much. Playing for a few months then not at all for a...

Re: When is the pot too big to fold.
When you've got trips but there's a possible straight and flush out -- I think the possibility of them bluffing the big hand will be at least 5%. I'd call a 20BB pot, even if I was sure that I was...

I've played about 8k hands there so far and i've never seen 3 .5/1 tables going full at the same time. It's usually only 1 table. And the rake saved calculator is pretty accurate.
