Re: Is this too much button abuse?
How did you get 4 hands on 6 off button, but only 1 in 4 off button? Did you play like 5 hands of full-ring seperately and each time just post in EP and then sit-out after two hands or what?
Also,...

This hand is great. A lot better than c/c

I don't get this.
I mean, I love this move with air (with or without outs) vs people who float a lot with air, or with nuts...

1) No, you cant tell what the EV is before you know the river action and his range.
2) You win what lies in the pot (included what you have put in), nothing else
3)You risk what you put...

Re: help me with this ev calc/\'theory\' question
You're looking at the EV of the entire post-flop line from the moment villain raises you.
This means that you need to see everything you plan to do after being raised as one move and hence as one...

No, we're hoping that AQ /images/graemlins/spade.gif folds, 'cause they'd be correct to call.

Yeah, I kinda like a shove here, even it being way bigger than pot - you'll get looked up by random crap like T9 more than you think.

Hey Xanderz,
Great stuff you're doing here. You mentioned that the Pokerpad.ini file would need to be edited for non-Titan iPoker sites. I figure the executable link needs to be changed and the...

If you're getting into a 3-bet pot with AK and flop top pair, you have to go all the way with or you shouldn't have gotten into a 3-bet pot preflop to begin with.
The exception being really,...

Re: Tough spot 50NL vs 2p2er, deep
If you bet the flop, are you getting three streets of value out of him?
If not, why are you betting flop?
My standard line in 3-bet pots here is to check flop and bet turn+river because you're...

I didn't fold.
If you're willing to spend $2 to see a turn, you have around 5% chance of hitting your out which you can't get implied odds to do considering stack sizes.
Calling is...

Re: 25nl QQ sanity check.

Why do we turn QQ in a bluff?
I think TT,JJ,AK,AQs will still call and KK+ will raise, therefore we fold to a 5bet (full stacked).
Since we only got ~75BBs we have to call.

Why do we turn our hand in a bluff by folding here?
I think we raise flop for value (vs. 88-JJ), but have to fold now, since he shows more strength than 88-JJ would do.

Re: 25nl QQ sanity check.
If you don't want to get it in here, don't raise flop. Not calling here means you turned your QQ into a bluff.
Which is why you need to flatcall this flop if you put your opponent on JJ+, AK. This...

Which hands do you expect to get value from?
1) Flushes: I think Adx and Kdx would have bet the turn or river, so they are probably not out there. Worse flushes probably won't call.

Re: 25nl6m.set, flush board and passive villain
Villain is pretty passive throughout the hand, only making a weak flop bet when checked to, which could mean anything without reads.
A river shove means you're betting 13.15 to win 25+13.15=38.15...
