Re: .1/.2 AK good flop and turn
I like 3-betting the flop, it disguises your hand better and gives you a better sense of what he has. From a checkraise, you can't distinguish between TPTK, overpair, or set.
Given you played the...

i would fold pf and as played c/r the flop

I would also fold pf, but with 5 players out there and no reads on .1/.2, there's a good chance someone has Ax. It's...

Re: .1/.2 AK more aggressive or good?
i would play the same. im interested in what the better players have to say.
edit: you may want to lead the river since villain's check suggests your ak might be good, but he's not calling...

Re: Ax suited in small blind
My thoughts:
I don't like betting the river. Unless he has reason to suspect villain is playing junk like K6 or Q4, you're not being called unless you're beaten, (he could also have 77,88 but...

legit as in, I have no evidence that he's a loose player.
I may be mistaken here, but I'm under the impression that due to horrible position, you need a very good hand to raise in SB. I *think*...

Do you say this because you don't give SB this much credit? If his raise from SB is legit, I don't...

Standard AKo?
Hey all,
I'm at .25/.50 stars and have no reason to suspect SB makes raises that are out of line. Despite this fact, I initially think my 3bet preflop is standard. Afterwards, I'm not so sure. ...

QJo and weakflushes
Hi all,
I'm often confused how I should be playing QJo. Do you want it multiway or short?

hey marchron,
for some reason i calculated the odds assuming i paid one sb, when really i payed 3/5 of one, which means I need only 6 sb. thanks for the advice. I guess similar considerations go...

You call with 66 to hit a set.

This is what I was referring to. If I play the b/b/b line, then I question whether or not it's even worth playing 66 in the sb under normal...

Re: stars .25/.50
I'm not convinced of the bet bet bet line for a set. I think hitting your set is 7.5 smallbets:1.
If the utg folds after your flop bet, you are profiting 8 small bets, making your profit...

In addition, if I'm not willing to play this way, is it even justified to limp with pocket sixes? I feel like I need either lots of raising on the flop or one raise at least on the turn, then a call...

I figured more likely than not, mp3 had something, an A,K or mid pair. But even with something like QJ, JT, low pair he might steal/bet when it's checked to him with the rainbow out. In this...
