Re: Growing in Skill
PT has a detailed help file that's html based. It was VERY useful in learning how to use it, and I'll still find new features (like the "game time" button) every now and then that I didn't know...

Re: IS this really THAT bad of a call?
I got the same advise when i posed my hand in the strat section... I had KK preflop raised like a should (UTG), Villian (Big blind) then went all-in on the flop w/ a Q on the table... Called and...

Re: Pokertracker noob linqo question
FAQ will tell you the third thing is the "agression factor," but I had to dig to find out how that's figured...

Re: Beginner KK Play
And per someone else's comment, if I come in at 100BB and take a bad beat and am down to 40BB, should I rebuy back up to 100?

Re: Beginner KK Play
Yeah, my buy-in had already taken a hit from a previous hand... two pair flop to someone who hit pair on 4th and 2nd on 5th.
I tried entering the pot strongly w/ a 4bb raise from utg, and then...

Re: Did i make the right play? SNG bubble
I don't really know how to respond to the play w/o the whole "well, should have folded knowing he had 1010, etc."
What I will contribute is this: With your read on him being agressive, I don't...

Re: Some Advice Please
One thing I would add is be careful which site you're on if you're only looking to put $10 on... mine has a $50 minimum.
If you don't have the cash, running free-rolls might be a lot of work,...

Re: Value Bet
To add on to Asheh, I've also read that a good value bet is between 1/4-1/2 the pot. So, in your £2.50 case, £.60-£1.25.

Well... I just joined Raketherake after browsing through the forums, and they'll actually send emails out to get the "affiliate" changed. I was on Absolute Poker w/o rakeback and they added it for...

Re: Playing 10,10 in early position
A lot of the stuff I've read has said (if you're playing tight) to not raise with 1010 UTG. , but Niediam is absolutely correct w/ readability... So i'd reccommend you call 75% of the time and...

Re: BEST poker software
nonymous, what software do YOU use? And why it? I'm looking more for what people's impressions are, not which software has the better sales pitch on their web site.

Buy ins?
I see this everywhere you try to look about staying within your bankroll... buy in no more than x percentage of your roll.
What is it for no-limit? Best I can tell from running the numbers is...
