I'm really curious too... i'm new to online play (and even new to poker) but i'm wanting to improve. What software should I look at? PT seems to be down right now

I'm very math minded (one of those fools w/ an Econ major/math minor), so graphs and raw data doesn't scare me.

nonymous, what software do YOU use? And why it? I'm looking more for what people's impressions are, not which software has the better sales pitch on their web site.

agreed Ender, I go to forums to get quick person to person advice, and yes likely this has been asked before, but if I wanted to spend hours browsing web ads and forum archives, I woulddnt be using forum.

So any advice on the question anyone?

Well... as far as I can tell in all the posts, PT seems to be the most popular, but unfortunatly it's down right now.

I have been browsing the nifty hand feature in AP for now, and have jut been using excell spreadsheets.

I look forward to PT coming back online so I can take a look at it.

Other than PT, what would you say? Maven isn't compatible w/ my site (tried looking there). Seems like there were really only 3 big ones on the forum, so I guess I'll go look at the only one I can.

We already gave you all the info you need.

One last time: Search.

Discussing this every time it comes up doesn't help anyone.

As another poster suggested: If you're too special to spend some time searching the forums, we are too special to spend some time helping you.
