Personality Crisis

I’ve gotten a lot of great advice from these forums over the last couple of years and I consider myself to be a fairly good poker player. However, my results show otherwise up until the last 3-4...

Re: 54s rr-ed pot

Given the hand you described before this one i'm almost solely putting this guy on TT to be betting that agressively after you C-C his flop bet.

If you held an OESFD without the board pairing i'd...

Re: Fold to river checkraise?

If you check the river instead of bet, and he puts in $35 you can call for the same price you paid to fold. He doesn't look like he's going anywhere so i think it's safe to assume he has the nuts or...

Re: QQ against loose player

He's pushing all in now with only $20 odd in his stack. I'd be willing to push here to beat his pair of J's or straight/flush draw.
The bet size is just right for you not to fold... which also makes...

Re: 16 outs push on the turn, what do you think?

I think calling here is correct as you have the odds here to do so. I'm not sure of your ability to fold an unknown in this spot and i think you're still behind his QQ.

Re: Valuetown with aces on the river, rr pot 2 kings on the board.

I'm not sure i understand the check on the turn - i'd prefer to bet here for more value against AK.

I think the value bet on the river is OK

Re: Results

A 3 barrel with NADA against this villain isn't good at all. If he was on a flush draw i'd expect a raise earlier. Him calling you down = you beat and him not folding to the river bet.

All you're...

Re: AA raised then open push for 180BB by one caller??

Does Absolute have an ALL IN button? If so i'm snap calling this based on him mis-clicking.

If not, i'd ditch the hand and say "nice set scared of a flush draw [censored] play"

Re: Flop a set, playing scared on the river?

I'm not folding but i'd hate to see A2 here. Though at this limit i'd also expect QT a lot of the time.

CALL.

Re: 4tabling 200nl video get it while its hot

I saw the vid, it was a bad home movie of Clayton and his pet rabbit. Don't bother.

Re: TPTK in 3bet pot, line check

I was thinking the river over-bet here often implies a bluff. If he's a thinking opponent and has a monster it's a decent move to push all in and make you play incorrectly - given you called it...

Re: 55 flops straight draw OOP

Reads help here. Is he aggressive? Does he CBet often? I don't want to C/R against the wrong opponent.

against unknown - i c/c and keep the pot small unless i hit my straight.

Re: Flopped flush draw after raising on button , 3 bet miniraise.

With no reads on villain i think the re-raise on the flop is horrible.

PF fine.

On this board i'd cbet 75% of the time and check 25%. Given the way UNKNOWN villain played i'd expect to see his...

Re: This really [censored] pisses me off... but it\'s a fold isn\'t it.

I'd prefer a check on the turn. Your hand can't stand a raise and you correctly folded. If he led for up to 2/3 on the turn i'd call to see the river.

Re: So wtf do I do here?

Cbetting here is nasty with so many people. I'd check/fold this normally.

Change tables.

Re: LOL, minraise!

You're giving him the right odds here to chase a flush draw and if he has a T you're beat. Otherwise if you think you're ahead and he doesn't have the above i guess it's a decent value bet.

NL$100 AA set on the river and possible flush&straight

Villain is a TAG 15/12 - we have a lot of history together and he sees me as a LAG.

Villain is fairly tight with 21/12 at the time though i didn't have HUD working and was multi-tabling.

All comments appreciated.

NL$100 bottom set on the flop, 3 way all in pot?

CO is 41/11 after only 36 hands and button is 28/7 after 500 hands.

This just stinks of a better set than me. Can you find a fold here?
