Default Love it or hate it?

After having a bit of a downswing at $100NL, I decided to play $50NL while clearing the Party Bonus. Villain was an ok LAG I suppose, nothing great but decent.

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $2</font>, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($4.25, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets $3</font>, Hero calls.
Here I'm thinking a raise will only drive away hands I want in. If a diamond comes on the turn, I'll have a decision.

Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($10.25, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.
I'm almost certain that villain would double-barrel with a flushdraw here, and also with a queen. Because of that, I'm checking behind, hoping to induce a bluff on the river. He might also hit an ace or a king on the river and think his hand is good. I'm also thinking he'll have a very hard time putting me on a queen when I check behind.

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($10.25, 2 players)
BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $10</font>

Love it or hate it? In the end, the pot didn't get as big as I would have liked, but against a mediocre hand, would I have been able to get more by betting the turn here? Comments welcome, especially on my thought-process.

Raising flop does definitely not drive out all the hands you want in.

Before I even opened this thread I knew I'd love it if it involved lots of betting and raising and hate it if it involved C/C or some lame crap like that.

Hate it.
