Re: NL 100: AQ vs 2p2er
Can I ask why you checked the turn? Giving a free card to a draw-friendly board is something I normally don't condone.

Re: 100 NL: Set
- what is villain's river AF? What is yours?
- Villain may have sensed weakness when you bet less than PSB on river, seeing you PSB flop and turn.
- Did you have any stats on the blinds? If I...

Re: NL10: flopped nut straight
Thanks for the info, toymach.
- I was varying my pfr amount with AK as I played a hand earlier with AK and raised to that amount with one limper.
- I bought in at $4; I've got a small...

NL10: flopped nut straight
First time posting to 2+2, so please give feedback on info/format/etc....
No reads on opponents (table going to flop ~45% of the time when I joined maybe 25 hands prior).
Concerned with flush...

Re: Value bet here? 10nl
Villain's combination of bets on flop and turn seem to me like AhXh (tried to build pot on flop for flush draw and bet half pot to push you off weaker checked hand on turn). I'd bet 2/3 pot on river...

Re: 50nl, fold tpgk against overbet on turn
I'd go $4 for the PFR to price out low pairs. If you get the CO calling then your stack/pot is around 7 so could help you to commit all-in to top pair, and inhibits the implied odds for draws.

Re: NL10 - KK in the blinds, awful flop
You need to bet out since you reraised; I think if you don't villain will bluff most likely with pot-sized bet to push you out. I'd agree that 1.5 is a good size for this flop bet. If you get a...

Re: JJ Call flop shove?
I'd call the flop and see what he does on the turn; not really committed AI with the board that way and him betting the pot which is telling us villain has something.

Re: *Official STTF SnG Book Review Thread*
Agree with Slim here on being able to show the full quantitative assessment of hand decisions. Maybe some standard small table showing numbers/results for each decision. I'm a novice at using SNGW...

Re: Continue at Current Stakes?
Seems you do OK at tourneys; why not use half your BR for tourneys and the other half for ring games (maybe NL10 until you build that half of your bankroll up for NL25)?

Re: Automatic M/Q calculations?
If you're looking for a real-time overlay for a tourney look at http://www.tournamentindicator.com/
I don't know about a tool that pulls from hand histories.

Re: Fold set on dry board?
Once you led out for $2 on the flop and called raise, you should have had your commitment decision made, whether to go all-in or not.
With flopping a set, I would commit to go all-in and not be...

Re: 25NL - AQ from BB against SB preflop raise
I would have raised more on the preflop to 4x his raise (just my preference when defending my big blind with a relatively strong hand), and raised on the turn with the pairing 7 coming on the board. ...

Re: NL5/10 Flopped nut straight
Villian could also have something like 8d9d and worried about a higher flush.....
In any case, bet turn+river no question. If I get raised, I'd have to think about a flush but still need to get...

Re: 1+0.10 - blocking on river
3/4 to pot size bet on flop; same on turn or check-raise all-in; bet on river is most likely a loser since weaker hands will fold and you won't budge a made flush.
Too weak of bets in my limited...
