NL50SH Stars, cbet with AA gets called, c/f turn?
Villian is multitabler, but no reeds. Seems reasonable. b/f seems better, but is c/f retarded?
Button ($167.20) SB ($36.25) BB ($46.95) Hero ($56.20) MP ($50) CO ($55.95) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, CO calls $2, Button calls $2, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold. Flop: ($8.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, Hero bets $6, CO calls $6, Button folds, SB folds. Turn: ($20.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO bets $12, Hero folds. |

Re: NL50SH Stars, cbet with AA gets called, c/f turn?
by checking on the turn you are bascially saying: That card is scary as [censored], if you bet you'll win. I would probably make a probe sized bet just to see where you are at, if the CO is the multitabler he probably won't look at his situation too much, he'll probably just see that you bet even with a 7 there and he might fold, unless he has a 6 where he'll raise and you'll be out quickly. Bet of 40% seems right. If he just had one table, and he's a good player he might understand what you're doing and raise anyway, but that's unlikely.

His range is wider than a straight here. Much wider. Bet $13.5 for value.

Re: NL50SH Stars, cbet with AA gets called, c/f turn?
Preflop raise of 4xBB gets called; only thing that I can think of that's reasonable is an overpair to the board which you beat or a pair of 6's or 7's which you're in trouble.
I wouldn't check/fold. Personally, I would have made a pot-sized flop bet, and either probe-bet on the turn or check-raise to define your hand. Just my two cents. Thoughts? |
