Re: Time\'s Klein on Affirmative Action
I think affirmative action has gone on too long in some circumstances. I don't think there's a need to correct voluntary re-integration, for example.
But, I'm reminded of an interesting analogy...

Re: Freaky Thing About Gravity
Don't have a clue. I wiki'd it and there isn't anything at all in there. What's strange is that encyclopedias seldom devote more than a line to the fact that nobody has a clue why gravity works. ...

Sure, they can model what gravity does in a particular case, but not a...

Limit HU rake at Paradise
It's refreshingly low. Just started playing there. Checked on Poker Tracker and rake is like 0.65% of the pot at 3/6. I used to play some limit heads up on Ultimate Bet and the rake was five or...

No, I was asking about the average rank of the HIGHEST card in a two card hand. It's got to be something like Jack or Queen.

What's the "average" rank of the highest card in a two card hold'em hand? Is there a difference between the mean, median, and mode?

I too feel better after reading this thread. I'm on a -275BB downswing in limit, the biggest of my "career." I feel alternatingly sick, disgusted, impotent, cheated, and worthless.

You played fine right up until you folded the river. You'll win way more than 1 in 7.75 to justify a call.

Re: JT two pair with 4 to a straight on board
