Well, that's not much fun. CO has God knows what, and your hand isn't strong anymore versus, for instance, a random hand.

He'll actually check some of his winners behind, but I'd imagine he'll bet a straight, which is the main thing you're worried about.

Ugh. I don't know. I guess you might as well bet-fold. This isn't for value so much as because Villain will probably find a bet if he has a straight, even if it's only the bottom end. And I seriously doubt he's bluff-raising much at all. And while he might be more inclined to bet, say, A7 than Q9 (though I doubt he'll bet the A7 very often), I'd imagine you are a bigger underdog if you're calling than if he is. (Actually, if he calls, you've probably just become a favorite.)

I'm not sure it makes a whole lot of difference whether you bet-fold or check-call here, actually. Your hand is quite marginal now, and Villain might actually find a fold with A6 at this point.

Okay, I just ran a Stove, and I take it back: Your hand is stronger against a random holding than I realized. (Having eight cards that automatically beat you doesn't have as much effect as I thought, versus just one opponent.)

I'm still not crazy about your hand anymore on the river, though.

Depending on UTG I might fold this preflop. I'd definitely check-raise the flop instead of leading into the field.

River...ugh...I'd probably check/call. Bet/fold is tempting since it's hard to imagine someone raising without a straight here.

Jeez, it's not for me, not anymore, but I agree that this Villain will hardly ever raise without a straight.

Late-night Party 5/10 LAGs do like to mess with you, though, which is what I'm drawing from these days. (In general, they'll raise with a straight, occasionally raise with a hand like bottom pair, and call with in between hands that they actually want to show down.)

Ok, if the UTG PF raiser had stuck around I would probably even check fold here because you are likely against a King, or AK, the only probably hands u could beat here are AA, AQ, AJ, AT, A9, or an unlikely raise from UTG.
Since the PF raiser folded, i would guess you are more likely against 2 pair then a str8. So what would somebody with stats like 67/5/0.45 cold call with? almost anything is possible, and I would be equally worried about Q6 as i would be Q8. be that as it may you might still have the best hand here, I would probably check and call. This has the added benefit that your opponent might bet a second best hand, say AJ hoping you'll fold, fearing the str8. given the .45 agression factor thats unlikely but I would still call given the pot odds, you are certain to be best here more than once in eight.

Considering villians low aggression, I'd tend to think bet/fold. If you've got enough hands to be sure of his stats, in my experience there's no way he's bluff raising the river here.

Fold pf.

The way you played it, I like a bet/fold on this river. This passive villain will call with a lot less, and only raise with a straight. If you check I think he's checking through a lot of hands you can beat.
