Re: Would you let him off

Where was the dealer during all this? I probably would have announced my intention to call, but not flipped my cards.

Re: The Worst Strategy You\'ve Overheard at a Table

My personal favorite... "The cards are meaningless before the flop!"

About splash pots... I had aces a few months ago UTG in a 3-6 game with a $50 splash. So I raised, knowing full well that all...

Re: Cardrooms in the US..

Here's the problem with Chicago. The casinos you would want to visit are in Gary/East Chicago, Indiana. From O'Hare, that can be a nightmare drive (with traffic). The closest casino (that has poker)...

I went to the TI last year with a buddy for a few days, and we stayed there to check out the new TI poker room, plus we both wanted to check out the new rooms at Wynn and the V.

Re: 3/6 Live - - TPTK CR\'d on Turn

BB cold calling two bets on the flop and CRing the turn (on a fairly innocuous card) screams flopped set to me. Many 3-6 players lack creativity, and that betting pattern, at least in my experience...

Re: dealt 3 cards now what?

I was playing in a B&M a few months ago and was UTG in a spread limit game with KK. I was cutting out a raise when the dealer called a misdeal because one player had three cards.

Re: Vegas cab drivers hassling for tips

I think a cab driver asking, "So, is this your first time in Vegas?" as you leave the airport is code for, "So, would you mind if I completely screw you on this fare?"

First trip to Vegas some six...

Re: Tucson big game info

The big game? You must mean the 3-6 at Del Sol.

Do they even spread 6-12 anywhere in town anymore? Near as I can tell, the 6-12 just vanished when 8-16 showed up.

I'm not a big fan of Del Sol....

Re: Open Question for Greg Raymer regarding WPT suit

As far as video games go, they are all licensed through the MLBPA, NFLPA, etc., to use player names and likenesses, the same way the team names (White Sox, Red Sox, etc.) are licensed through MLB.

Craps free odds on the strip

From what I understand, most strip casinos are 3x4x5x odds. I'm planning a quick jaunt for Septmeber and hope to find some $5 or $10 tables, the higher free odds the better.

Any suggestions?...
