Passive with good draw
No reads on villain but I've been pretty active so far. Also, I suck at no limit and have no idea how to play this hand.

Help me with the basics please.
Hi everyone. I'm trying to make a limit to no limit conversion here and I must admit I'm a little lost. In the first hand I have no reads since the player just sat down. The small raises and bets...

Re: omg a pair!
[ QUOTE ]
If you don't bet this river, it's better to check the turn imo. You can b/c, because you have a read.
[/ QUOTE ]
Checking the turn when our hand needs major protection is pretty bad.

More profit- Stars or Full Tilt?
Right now I average around $1,000 in rakeback for every 20,000 hands at Full Tilt. This is about 1 month's worth of play. Is there any way to come close to this much cash back thru Poker Stars VPP...

Re: Turned TPNK
So you called a flop bet to try and spike an ace and when the ace falls you second guess the flop call.
Anyway, as played its time to value bet.

Re: KK vs. unknown
This is a spot where a read would really help. Against a passive player this is a fold. Against an aggressive opponent who never open limps on the button unless he has aces this is most likely a...

Re: AKs vs Crazy\'s
Fold the turn. Not only are your gutshot outs unclean, but you don't neccesarily have odds to call. CO could raise causing you to pay multiple bets to chase and if he folds then you've lost your...

One thing to consider here is what your image at this table is and what kind of history you have between this villain. If you've been running hot with your finger glued to the turbo raise button...

Re: Call? Cap? Value bet?
Hand 1: I bet turn and probably fold to a raise. People call the flop with all kinds of junk.
Hand 2: Why is everyone disgusted with the flop play?
Hand 3: Check call

Re: 3/6 what\'s my line on this nasty river...?
I think bet fold is the best line although I realize at that point the pot will be pretty big. Check calling really doesn't have any value given the turn action and the river card. I also call down...

Re: Stars 2/4 64s in BB- value bet river?
Seems like a thin value bet since he'll call with ace high often enough. Then again with him having a PFR of only 7 I think your behind most of his range. Check folding the turn is a viable option...
