Default Ace high vs. unknown

Villain is unknown at this point.

What would your play be if villain were 23/16/2.5?

What about 40/25/2.5?

I would fold against all of them without more of a read.

Why are we betting this turn?

I'm not saying it's wrong, but I am saying it is not clearly standard.

As played, if you ARE betting the turn, you should be doing so with a very clear intention of folding if raised. (Conversely, if you can't fold to a raise, don't bet.)

I would expect CO to usually raise if he flopped a pair, and BB is peeling alot. I think we have the best hand on the turn quite often.

This was my thinking although I did fold. It's hard to put him on a hand here because any hand besides a 4 that raises the turn would have raised the flop instead. I think his range consists of either total bluffs that made a light flop peel (as is very common in this game) or exactly A4. Since there's only 3 aces left in the deck I think a certain percentage of the time I'm either ahead or have six outs to improve.

I should also note that I've been running very hot at this table and probably appear very laggish to the others.

To clarify I meant you have the best hand quite often before the turn gets raised.

Although a good player doesn't just call the flop here with a made hand, he also wouldn't coldcall PF. People play weird. I don't think you see a bluff or semibluff any where near often enough to calldown, though.

Just felt like chiming in to say I like the turn bet and would fold to the raise vs. either opponent.

This is an easy fold unless you have a specific read on villian that suggest otherwise. Maybe he has a flush draw and overcards. Do you really want to call 2 more bets to find out?
