Re: very interesting 1st hand of Fulltilt 69+6 18k guarantee

Is calling here horrible?
Maybe fold to his reraise? Why risk it all on the first hand with a draw?

What do you think he had - AQ, TT or 77? QQ would rereaise before the flop.

Playing too many hands because I'm bored or whatever.

Hanging on to middle pair...

"Oh, is this MY half of YOUR pot?"

Upon rebuying "Where's your half of your pot? Oh, this must be it beside MY half of your pot!"

Re: Single Most Important Peice Of Advice For A Newbie?

Play a lot of the cheap sit and go tourneys. You can see a lot of poker hands and gain quite a bit of experience for cheap.

Re: Question 5

I think this is a fold. I'm getting around 2 to 1 on my call but the bottom line is that, if I call, I've just risked 1/3 of my stack on A9 off and likely just doubled up a short stack.

It's...

Re: 6-seat $13: Ace high on flop

I don't claim to be the best player so I try to avoid situations that make me out think myself (and this would be one of the situations.)

If I was sure that I could out play this guy after the...

Re: 6-seat $13: Ace high on flop

Playing these types of hands puts me in situations that I don't need to be in. For me, this is an instafold pre-flop.

As played, I would bet 60-90 post flop and fold to reraise. Against someone...

Re: $23+2 poker.com - how do you play this?

I pushed post flop and he called with QQ and I drew blanks.

Wish I had slowed down on the flop.

Any chance that I was not going to get killed on that hand?
