Re: what to do w/full house facing river bet?

dont worry, donkey quads like that don't happen often enough to make you go broke, also I can't see betting more on the flop, in the long run you'll make lots of money playing TT vs Q9

Re: Top Pair

I dont think villain would cap w/ a set, most players try for a c/r on the turn. that means he probably has a big draw, 45h, or flopped 2 pr. either your behind or break even. Still from this...

Re: Could someone please summarize today\'s hearing

I'll take $10 of that action, not cause I'm unconfident, just don't have a huge bank roll to wager on things I know very little about. But 10:50 I can't afford to pass up.

Payable on your honor.

Re: Could someone please summarize today\'s hearing

The opposition was Rep Bachus, he seemed unprepared and uninformed. He presented a letter from Jack Abramoff to somehow discredit the movement, but Barney Frank chastised him for it publicly, but he...

Re: AKs huge pot

I like waiting for the turn in this one, that play is actually coverd in HEFAP and SSHE, "when a flop raise won't protect your hand" or something. I also like it, because there aren't many draws on...

Re: Small test of your understanding of poker.

How would I be certain of his holdings before the flop action?

Typical, I rasie w/ AQ, cap his 3 bet w/ 88, I raise the turn with 88 or better, and if he 3 bets I call down with AQ or better...
