No more ePassporte???
They updated their agreement terms. This part doesn't sound promising:
" 8. Account Closing Service Fee. If Your Account is closed by Us and there are funds remaining in Your Account, We reserve the absolute right to charge Your Account an Account Closing Service Fee up to the balance in Your Account. B. We reserve the right at Our sole discretion to block access to or to close Your Account if: (i) You load funds onto Your Account from any source that You do not have the legal right from which to transfer funds" [censored]! Re: NO MORE EPASSPORTE???
I just checked a number of sites using epassporte and they are all still allowing epassporte transactions from US residents.
I checked with a couple other forums. Most people are still able to deposit and withdraw normally. Others experinced some difficultie's. One poster said his transaction was declined, he contacted support and they said they were experencing some technical difficulties but his transaction had been processed and everything was ok. Maybe they are just adding terms and conditions to cover there own behind. I just dont like they are reserving themselves the right to "charge you an account closing fee up to the balance of your account". Scary!!!!! Is it time to open a offshore account yet??? |

Re: LINK for the quote PLEASE
Link for the quote PLEASE-
epassporte.com When you log in to your account on epassporte.com the terms and conditions update pops up. You then have to agree to the new terms and conditions before being able to access your account. If you dont have an account with epassporte I do not know how you can view the new terms and conditions........... |

Re: LINK for the quote PLEASE
Even if this is the correct text - so what.
If they thought your use of Epass was illegal now, they would stop it. Until recently the vast majority of their business was porn. You'd want them to shut down accounts trying to access child porn wouldnt you? Of course if they want to put themselves immediately out of business they could take the few hundred some folks leave in an account for doing something epass first allowed them to do....Do I see the sky falling? Did izzy spend some time with gaboon? |

I even did a follow post stating that no one is really having to many problems and those that did got the problem resolved. Even stated all the sites I checked with still allow US transactions through epassporte. Why is it that I allways get attacked here on twoplustwo. Most of you fellas are a bunch of ass holes. Suck it! Anyways, I still feel its scary that epassporte is reserving themselves the right to take your funds if your account is closed. Oh yeah skall [censored] you and viper!!! |

The concern is very simple, if Neteller had had the same provision,
.... then they could have kept all the US and Canadian player balances.
This is NOT the provision dealing with customer fraud, that is handled elsewhere. This is a (new ?) catch-all provision claiming the contractual right to keep your money, in their "absolute discretion"..... no illegality by you is required. Skall, tell me why THAT is not disconcerting. |
