Another thing i have to say, is that paying a lot of attention to the players during the tournament, gives me a little edge when i reach the final heads-up.....And in 6 max, winning the final...

How can you go AI preflop with a 8000+ stack and 200-400 blinds? Come on, this is poker, not lotto. You're supposed to be able to play hands also post-flop.
And still, raising 1000-1200ish would...

By the way i feel the kind of S&Gs i play are a bit different from the ones you play...Mine are 6handed, which means more action, and the blinds go up slowly so one tournament lasts...

Why can't you just raise it and outplay him after the flop? And if you get outflopped, you can still save a lot of chips and stay ahead or closely behind..
