How can you go AI preflop with a 8000+ stack and 200-400 blinds? Come on, this is poker, not lotto. You're supposed to be able to play hands also post-flop.
And still, raising 1000-1200ish would have him fold if he has total junk, and call with something you can make him fold with a continuation bet after the flop most of the times. He isn't in chip-trouble at the moment, blinds aren't too high....If he calls, you're most of the times a dog or a slight favorite....You have the chip lead, you don't want to be in this situation.. |
