Yes, but this villian was obviously one of these guys that uses the rule "the better hand i got, the less i bet". Which is great, because usually i don't hit that two-outer that makes me pay him off...

Since you didnt reraise preflop i think the fold is right. You probably had the best hand preflop but let lower pockets and SC in the hand too cheap, imo.
