Re: Who would you 3-bet in this spot?

@ thepizzlefosho
The SB wasn't a maniac - that's the problem /images/graemlins/frown.gif
I just gave him a bit too much respect I guess - I actually considered raising a blank river after my turn...

Re: Who would you 3-bet in this spot?

Thank you for all the replies. It was actually a bad beat in disguise..

The SB was on the passive side but I got to think if I would have 3-bet anyone but the most agressive players in this spot....

Re: Basic River Value Question

easy check. Passive postflop and low PFR - he has you beat more often than not (when he pays)

Re: Who would you 3-bet in this spot?

Re: Who would you 3-bet in this spot?

Button was 68/40 - hence the LRR. The blinds were loose. I seldom LRR because as pointed out it telegraphs what I have but this particular crowd called for it I think... AA and KK like both small and...

Re: WA/WB. 3 handed TP Ok kicker

The turn was bad because AT now also beats me... The question is how low his kicker is for raising preflop UTG.
But guess that with AK he would 4-bet preflop - also maybe with AQ..
I posted this...

I called and the turn got uglier:

By now I must be drawing dead or splitting - is a fold out of the question?

WA/WB. 3 handed TP Ok kicker

BB is loose passive.
UTG is very agressive - both before and after flop.

Re: Raise flop or turn with TPGK on draw heavy board HU

I think I should have waited til turn to raise..

As played I think raising turn and checking river is ok.
As it turned out I had 3Q+4J+3T+3 9s=13 outs

Re: Raise flop or turn with TPGK on draw heavy board HU

After being check-raised twice it's not for value. I am not saying I don't like it - I would just do it for a free showdown UI.
Though I am not sure what kind of improvement I would require to VB...

Re: Raise flop or turn with TPGK on draw heavy board HU

@ Lethe
I like to call one some flops and let him lead turn and then raise him - But usually only on less draw heavy boards.
Any thoughts on this?

Anyway I chose to raise flop as you all...
