I would never LRR here. On the turn, 3-betting is viable but I would err on the side of calling down here with no reads. Most people don't checkraise QJ here.

I never limp reraise in a 6 max game with kk or aa. What is the reasoning behind this play? It seems to just telegraph your hand.

to answer your question: yes I would 3-bet. you underrepped your hand pf so now you should take advantage of it by putting in more action, and the fact that villain called flop and raised turn has me weighting his hand more to AQ than AA or QQ (which likely would have raised the flop).
also I agree that llimp reraising is a bad play in general in 6max. If you had a read that the button will raise 100% of his hands pf if you limp, then it is somewhat reasonable. Barring that he is a total spewy maniac against limpers, it is a bad idea. |

Button was 68/40 - hence the LRR. The blinds were loose. I seldom LRR because as pointed out it telegraphs what I have but this particular crowd called for it I think... AA and KK like both small and big crowds (not saying that I like to just limp with them) and with the maniacal button I was almost sure I could get RR in.
If I am sure the SB will cap (and bet blank turn) with hands that beat me I have to be close to 2/3 sure that I beat him for 3-betting the turn to be correct? (lose 2 bets when behind and win 1 when ahead) |

with that desciption, seems like a good time to LRR, and if these guys dont know you, it doesnt necessarily telegraph your hand...
if button is maniacal, why not c/r the flop? he did cap it, and most maniacs can be trusted to bet the flop. on the turn, I would just call down, unless a read tells you SB will take this line with marignal hands. Your line is really really strong so far and with your turn bet he should be able to rule out AK from your range. I think SB will have 2pr+ too often to 3bet. |

limp/3 betting here? ur asking to get busted, i never 3 bet here nehow
if he calls it u make one bet, if u raise and he reraised u lose 2 plus a river bet. Its not profitable enough considering he may 4 bet alot here |

Regarding the LRR - I know my chances of getting busted will increase, but I don't mind the extra risk considering the 16 SB pot.

lrr is fine, but you have to realize it turns your hand face up. because of this you should definitely not 3-bet the turn.
