I can see now that my raise preflop to $220 was obviously pointless. I think I was debating between a big raise and a check so I bet somewhere I between... lol at myself

Ok thanks, that makes sense. I think I tend to get to tricky in these situations.

If villain calls your flop bet and the turn is a blank, do you just push? What if the turn is a spade?
