Playing my small FD against a SLAG and LP
At a very very loose table here. BB is pretty loose and has a very hard time letting go of hands like TPGK. CO is normally quite passive, by the way he plays this I assume he has a hand he really...

Re: Easy bottom set laydown on broadway flop?
Yeah I'm probably letting results get in the way. He happened to show me AK and I didnt boat up. I can definitely see him showing QJ JT or even AA though sometimes. Just looking for reassurance due...

Re: Small set vs possible rivered flush
[ QUOTE ]
even for a blocking bet, your river action is too small. Either bet 4-5$ or check, this bet is asking to be bluffraised, and I'm not sure you can call a raise here.

Easy bottom set laydown on broadway flop?
Villain is a solid multitabling TAG and I wouldn't be surprised if also a 2+2er. AK/QQ/JJ seem like heavy possibilities here, anyone calling this all in?

Small set vs possible rivered flush

From reading some of your posts, it seems like a lot of this would click for you a lot faster if you knew some of the numbers of the game better (apologies if you already do).

Agreed, you said its time to start improving your game, and then you go and post a hand like this where u were obviously a favorite and got outdrawn. I get the feeling you posted this hand...

Re: Here\'s a hand.
Yeah, I did get sucked out on, but not the way I was expecting. Seems I should have put it all in preflop. I did end up putting it all in on the flop as an 88% favourite, called by two AK and a JT...

OOhhh, ouch. I for one, won't assume that you are a bad player just because of this; would be kinda results oriented unless I see the hands. It's highly possible though, or perhaps you...

Re: The 10 NL 16 buyin dowswing over ~4k hands
Yeah I do actually enjoy the game. After a long session and booking another loss of course I don't have the best attitude towards poker, but after some time off when I come back it's always fun again.

At least it's only 10NL. From your limit experiences, this probably isn't detrimental to your br.

What you need to hear more than anything else is the truth.
What are the chances that someone can lose 16 buyins over 4k hands and not be an overall losing player? I doubt the chances...

The 10 NL 16 buyin dowswing over ~4k hands
This is likely to induce flames but in my current state I will probably enjoy it. I am quite possibly the worst player in the world. 16 buyins over 4k hands at 10 NL. This of course includes KK all...
