I think $500 will be the maximum at the casino I plan to play at also. I will be staying there overnight with some family members. And I don't want to lose a buyin and than not have anything to do...

Slow rolling
This is a sort of a second question post (I posted about cashing in and out). I'm a newbie to live poker play. I read that if you know you have the best hand it is bad form to wait to try and to...

online poker watchdog website?
A little less than a year ago Jetset closed down and took my money that I had in my Jetset account with it.
I was wondering if there is a website that is a watchdog on online poker sites. Perhaps...

Ok I shove the last $220. Villian says in chat : "Nicceeeee boat", "This is unbelievable", he thinks for awhile and than folds. To me he was representing the flush in the chat box. But I was...

I make a full house on the river
can't remember the hand exactly but it went something like this:
Villain is a pretty good player in my opinion. He is aggressive in 'good' spots and he doesn't call too much postflop. Preflop he...

I finally got the nerve to 3 barrel
I started playing $2/$4 no limit for the first time today. I would like comments about this hand:
I sat down at a new table. This is first hand against villian and I have not played him before....

Re: I has an overpair
I think the villian can overpush with 88,99,TT,55,66.
It is kind of a difficult spot. But barring a read I would lean towards a call.

Re: AQ suited 5 handed preflop
Ok, two people agree.
I thought well sb is shortstacked and could be raising with many hands not worried about him. CO limped and than smooth called a raise and reraise.
So I shoved. CO...

Re: I really hate to fold here, but srsly wtf
Yeah, he COULD be doing this with 77 with oesd or 88 with the gutshot or be on a stone bluff /w mediocre hand, but I don't think your ahead enough of the time here to call. Unless I have seen him do...

Re: pretty dumb spot with AA
Yes, the hand has good chances to still be the best hand. Plus you are ~1-22 to hit an ace the river and have great implied odds against someone with a jack.
edit: well stacks are small, but you...

Re: AA C/R on mono flop
I don't really mind flat calling and hoping the BB puts the rest in on the turn.
edit: because you may be folding out some weaker hands that will bet the turn, and you are not afraid of draws

Re: Kings Turn Line
If you think he will exactly check worse hands on the turn and bet better hands, than your choice is easy check-fold turn. If it goes check-check, only bet the river if you think he will call with...
