With his min bet I figure x5 would do the trick for a fold. I wasn't expecting a reraise. Being out of position caused my turn check. If pushed I would fold, I think I got out of it rather cheaply...

I don't play them regularly, but I have won a few 4 dollar ones. You really don't start getting to play poker untill the final 4-5 tables. The rest is simply waiting for position and monsters.
