Re: $4/180 Challenge - 10/31 8:00 EST

Well that was pretty awful, I finished 75th, 72nd, 118th, and 93rd, for an earth shattering 9 points. I enjoyed it though, good luck to everyone left.

Re: MTT SnG Sweat Thread for 9/08

Finished 4th, the two chipleaders knocked out 5 people in the space of 20 hands, and I stood by. Finally I pushed over the chipleader's limp w/A8, and he had AJ.

Re: Worst plays you\'ve seen in the history of ESPN WSOP?

[ QUOTE ]
Never heard of this hand until ESPN showed during their Scotty N segment. Does anybody know how many chips were at stake when he made that call?

Re: Worst plays you\'ve seen in the history of ESPN WSOP?

While it's not the worst play, it's probably the worst play in the most important spot in WSOP history. 1979, Bobby Hoff and amateur play Hal Fowler are heads up. Fowler was already on the good end...

Re: 4/180 Sweat

I finished 2nd for $144, one brain dead play heads up cost me the win.

Re: FTP Winners Choice Sat: Which would you choose?

Voted USPC for the short drive, the better structure, and the lack of WPT issues (waiver, FT structure, etc.).

EDIT:Also, since it's been televised for a few years now, and with what seems like...

Re: Is next year\'s HORSE tournament going to be all HORSE

Despite what Doyle says, one would think that ESPN would have the greatest influence on Harrah's, and they have a vested interest in the final table being NLHE, for TV purposes.

Re: JJ Blind Battle

PF is fine, but I would push the flop. I wouldn't think that given the PF action he has JJ beat here very often, and all the Queens, Kings, Aces, and clubs in the deck are going to give you a fit on...

I'm a low limit donkey who got in on a sattelite. Chances are good this will be the only one I play unless I make a big score tonight.

Well that was fun. For the record, I think A9 is ahead of Prodigy's range there, but maybe I'm just fooling myself. Anyhow, I look forward to doing it again another week.
