[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Cunningham doubled up just before the break, from Vorhaus: [ QUOTE ] Richard Lee in the small blind, Cunningham in the big. Kevin Aaronson raised under the gun to 180k. Erik Friberg calls from middle position. Lee and Cunningham both call. Flop comes K-2-5. Lee checks, Cunningham checks. Aaronson bets 400k. Friberg calls. Lee folds. Cunningham moves all in for another 2.55m more. Aaronson thinks, then folds. Friberg thinks for a lo-o-o-n-g time, then calls, saying he thinks Cunningham's on a steal. Not this time, Eric. Cunningham shows 5-5 for a flopped set. Aaronson has 9-9, and when he can't find his two-outer, Cunningham scoops the monster pot. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Like to Vorhaus' updates? I can't find it with google. [/ QUOTE ] http://ultimatebet.com/wsop/wsop-blog-jv.html |

Thought Process on the final hand
by Lenny on 8/8/2006 15:57 Rizen limped with A-6 knowing the chip leader would raise with anything. Gold did raise to about 500k and Eric went ahead and pushed for about 2 million. Gold had a hand again with Tens and called easily. "Maybe it was a bad play, maybe not. I thought he would be raising any two and if he has a hand maybe I get lucky." Eric is obviously disappointed with the way he finished but he can be very proud of how he played this tournament as a whole. Great game Rizen, we'll see you online! |

[/ QUOTE ] I dunno, perhaps he doesn't want to wait for Lisandro, Prahlad, and Allen to get 10mm+ chips each from the internet qualifiers before delurking from 'super-tight' mode. |
