With people shoving 500K into 30K pots preflop I don't see how they are going to stretch this out 4 more days.

Thorsson Eliminates Max Reele in 59th Place ($123,699)
With four limpers in a pot the flop comes Ah8h4d and action is checked around. The turn is the 5h. Max Reele bets $100,000 in the small blind and is called by William Thorsson. The river is a 6s. Reele bets $200,000 and is raised by Thorsson to $550,000. Reele immediately announces all-in for an additional $400,000. Thorsson calls and shows QhJh for the flush while Reele shows 8s5d for two pair. Thorsson eliminates Reele and takes the pot of over $2.4 million. Big pot for thorsson, keep rollin fella! |

He seems like a down to earth good guy, with an interesting story. If he gets to the final table, thre are all sorts of angles to work with him. He has been tutored/mentored by Chan, and he plays in the big game at the Commerce. So he has some card sense behind him. Gold's interview NCAces |

From Tao of Poker:
9:45pm... Bouncin Round the Room: Martn de Knijff got caught coaching one of the Swedish players. Not only is that against the rules, but he was using a media badge (not in his name) to get near his player by the inner media rail. TD Jack Effel made an annoucnemnt saying that "Media and spectators are prohibited from coaching the players." I wonder how much of that has gone on this tournament. |

[/ QUOTE ] Some are saying they won't because of PPV, but I can't imagine that their revenue from PPV would exceed the cost savings of closing production 3 days early. They can't be making that much off PV at $25 a clip. Those of you who went deep or played at all, if you were still there, would you rather get to a FT and then wait 2 days, or just play it out? I think if it was me, I'd want to keep playing. If you got that far, things have to be running goot for you and I can't imagine that you would want to come back 2 days later. NCAces |
