Re: Great Films and Filmmakers
Peter Weir
The Last Wave
Fearless
Witness
Could also substitute Dead Poet's Society or Mosquito Coast in there. I also really enjoyed Truman Show, but it gets a bad rap.

Re: Norm Chad Keep It Up
I used to like Around the Horn when Max Kellerman was running it, simply because he knew the sportswriters were boobs, and treated them as such. Plus he had charisma, where as whathisname running it...

52o Blind Hand
Villain in this hand is 40/10/1 over about 75 hands. I hadn't seen him get massively out of line or anything while I was at the table.

3 bet on the river with the 2nd nut flush
This hand is NL50 at a B2B site, so apologies in advance for the not quite as clean hand history. No real reads on the villain except that he's willing to be aggressive when necessary - didn't see...

Re: Vertical Poker Bonus
[ QUOTE ]
Thanks for all of the replies. The promotion is not just for a PS3, though. They're giving out 25%, a nano, and a PSP along the way, as well. That's why I thought it looked good. If...

Re: Vertical Poker Bonus
Well, I'm doing the Victor Chandler 100% to $1000 bonus and I have to clear 125,000 action points. So 150,000 action points for a $600 PS3 doesn't seem like its some kind of super, break the bank...

I can picture buying a album from Chris (and his band), I can picture buying an album from Taylor, and I can even maybe picture buying an album from Katherine. I just can't imagine people buying...

Re: Internet Poker... doomed from Day 1
PA Hud basically is the online equivalent of live tells and reads. You can't see your opponent's face and body language online, so you look at the PT stats you have as an alternative. Noone is...

Re: Time Warner takes away my GSN
I'd pay $3 for it if I watched anything else on the station regularly and I knew that High Stakes Poker was going to have another season. I think it actually comes with the regional sports package...

Time Warner takes away my GSN
Bastards. Made GSN a $3/mo subscription channel. Now I'm going to have go hunting downloads. And I wanted to watch High Stakes Poker tonight.

As a former Duke student, I'll definitely confirm the isolation from the community. Note that I'm not rich - middle class at best and I paid my way via scholarships and loans. But the way the...

Re: Remember that Survey on Pacific Poker?
I got it on casino-on-net, and I'm pretty sure their bonus policy is wagering 2xbonus for all bonuses outside the norm. So I wagered $200+ at jacks or better and then cashed out.

Re: Stars v Party Where to Play (LC)
B2B network is pretty fishy and mostly european. Very bad loose aggressive for the most part though, so can be a big change of pace adjustment. Lots of solid bonuses at the various sites too.

Re: Party reload
I think the problem is that without putting a question mark in the title, it makes the thread look like it is announcing a reload instead of asking a question about one, and that shows little to no...
