Re: TAMPA to get full pledged casino

It is my understanding that they are in process of expanding the current casino at the moment. I really do believe that this will happen by the end of September.

Re: SSNL Session Review

Recently started playing NL so I have a lot to learn. I like the idea of the SSNL Session Review, but feel that I don't have a lot that is worthwhile to contribute as I am still learning. Is there...

Re: Loose call on a drawing hand?

[ QUOTE ]
UTG showed you why your flop call was bad. He obviously had a flush draw (or a really loosely played 35), and it was definately higher than yours. Easy fold on the flop, fairly standard...

Re: Loose call on a drawing hand?

Thanks for all of the comments thus far.. Most of them seem to be inline with my thinking after reviewing the hand.

Although, during the heat of the action I surmised that I was about a 2:1 dog to...

Loose call on a drawing hand?

Recently started playing NL after picking up NLH: TaP. Would like some feedback, specifically on my call on the flop and turn. Thanks in advance!

Re: Party Reload

Haven't played since the last bonus, but jumped on tonight and was offered the 15% (MAX $100) offer with June06reload15.

Re: TPTK on multi-draw board

Like others, this is a hand that I question often. As played by me, I usually limp as the OP did in EP with AJo. On the flop I would lead with a bet. I don't see how going for the C/R really...

Re: Tell me this wasn\'t horrible against a passive player

This is an area that I need to work on, so I'm interested in what others have to say as well. I play the hand the same until the river, where I just call his raise. Based on how passive Villian is,...

Being out of position, makes this a bit harder to play I think. That being said...

Flop bet is good

Turn bet is good, I think if you check you leave yourself open to a bluff by the Villian if...

Re: Bet this Flop?

[ QUOTE ]
Bet flop, call any reraise, see what happens on the turn. If the turn is like 7 or something, fire out another one, if reraised, fold. Check down river if you miss the A or Q.

Re: 1/2 QQ too many people!!

I would lay this hand down on the flop. None of your outs make you a cinch to win. Any of the remaining (2) Queens give someone a possible Broadway and the Qh makes a possible flush and even Royal,...

Re: two more HHs i need help with...

Given the game (.50/1) and that there are no reads, I would limp with both hands as the games tend to be loose. However, if you knew the games to be tight or aggressive, I may be inclined to pitch...

Re: TT in BB - playing sets

You've already mentioned reraising PR, so that's a given.

I would 3-bet the flop giving you a chance to get it capped when/if UTG +1 caps.

Lead out on the Turn as you did and lead the river as...

Re: Fold to river donk?

Still very new and learning, but here's my 2 cents...

Looking at your read, it looks like Villian is pretty passive postflop so I wouldn't really expect him the type to try a steal on the river. ...
