100NL: QQ Facing Min-Raise Fest
The original raiser (MP1) is the only player I have any reads on, and he's so short that he's insignificant. MP2, the original min-raiser, has me covered, so an overcall still doesn't guarantee that I'll see a flop.
UB NLHE - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 9 Players SB: $48.05 BB: $52.20 UTG: $49.80 UTG+1: $48.50 MP1: $11.50 MP2: $109.05 MP3: $69.05 CO: $24.80 Hero (BTN): $99.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (9 Players) 2 folds, MP1 raises to $3.50, MP2 raises to $6.00, MP3 raises to $8.50, 1 fold, HERO |

LOL, this is a funny hand. You have to fold, i can guarantee you that someone has KK or AA here.

Re: 100NL: QQ Facing Min-Raise Fest
why is your stack so short, and set value time?

Re: 100NL: QQ Facing Min-Raise Fest
MP1 might be so short he just fancies stacking off with any 2 cards.
MP2 might be aware of this and is trying to isolate with 2 broadways or mid pocket pair. MP3 surely has a hand but how can we be sure its AA or KK. JJ or TT are not unlikely. I bang in a 16 - 20 raise here and see what happens. |

Re: 100NL: QQ Facing Min-Raise Fest
sakrei you can't call that assuming you'll see a flop for set value. One of the two other players behind is likely to shove.

Re: 100NL: QQ Facing Min-Raise Fest
LOL at calling "for set value."
A case could easily be made for putting in a raise here but I think I would probably just fold. I think someone has AA/KK here pretty often. If you see a flop you will either have to fold to any aggression, stack off MP3's 70BB if QQ remains an overpair, or fold out someone else's JJ/TT or weaker holding. Anything less than QQ is weak enough that you can get away from it, so the only time you are stacking off here is when you are beat. You will be ahead preflop a significant portion of the time, but I really don't think the money you make raising here will quite even out with the money you lose when you are beat. You will give up value many times but honestly I would just not get involved here and let them fight it out. |

why is your stack so short [/ QUOTE ] Am I being leveled here? Anyway, I thought I'd post the rest of the hand since I've never seen anything like this. If I did fold the best hand, AK got there anyway, but this looks like KK/AA for sure.
