[ QUOTE ]
i didn't even read it. I just accepted (i know stupid) Its all cool now. I called them up and they re-opened it. It was something to do with making transactions from a different computer. (even though I've always used the same computer). Whatevs though, least i'm back in business. [/ QUOTE ] I would suggest you be very careful with this account. If you been using the same computer and they say that another computer accessed you account. Is there a chance that someone else accessed your account and could possibly do it again? edit: Btw, since its almost time for a new NC thread. My Suggestion: The Micros Aren't Dead! need more suggestions. |

[ QUOTE ] Neteller has just closed my account. WTF? Anyone else had this happen to them? [/ QUOTE ] Did they at least send you an email to let you know what's up? [/ QUOTE ] Nah, they said to mak an international phone call and contact them |

Re: Roger, I\'m queening it as we speak (NC Thread)
Atleast neteller is kind enough to reopen your account. My moneybookers account was recently closed (while i had more than 2K in it) and altough I verified my address with them, send copies of my passport and a utility bill etc etc, they didn't want to re-open it. They even didn't notify me when they closed my account and after a lot of emails and phone calls the only thing they tell me is that the account is closed 'in connection with security reasons' Whatever that is....

[/ QUOTE ] Or...are you accessing Neteller from a laptop with wireless, that you've used at multiple locations? They actually couldn't know what computer is being used - they look at the IP address. |

[/ QUOTE ] I was actually thinking about this earlier, if the majority of IP's are dynamic then they wouldn't be able to tell which PC you would be using as your IP should change everytime your router/modem is restarted. The only way they could tell if they knew what yer MAC address was (which I cannot see how they could do that without infringing security) |

I'm not that computer savvy, but you make a good point. Call me paranoid though, I would still be careful with that account.

This is how, for instance, collusion--i.e. two people playing at the same table online in the same room--is prevented. |
