There is no hand that can beat me in one card that would fold the flop for one bet. The only issue is do I want to let pairs 77+ to stick around. I dont think this is one of those situations where I need to protect my hand so much as I need to control the betting.

[/ QUOTE ] I agree - this is one of those board where there's no reason to protect on the flop. Qx (x>6) is the only hand with 4 outs against you - everything else has 2 or needs runner-runner. Let him lead again and trap the field for at least 2 on the turn. Because SB is all-in on the river I'd reraise (will it let you reraise if the raise is only 1/3 of a BB?) because I think you are beating the other guy extremely often. |
