Re: Moneymaker - 3 years later
it's his mouthguard. The rest of the clip is even worse. The guy lands 3 monster shots while the other guy is down before the ref stops it. Why? because the stupid ref went over to pick up the mouthpiece. Fortunately, the guy that got KO'd didn't suffer any injuries.

Re: Moneymaker - 3 years later
I saw a video interview on Cardplayer.com with Moneymaker last World Series. He said he divorced his wife, remaried a younger women, and had a child. He was also working with Play Boy to sell poker tables, chips, and other products. I think he started a company called Moneymaker Gaming. This is all from a video interview almost a year ago so the information might be sketchy.

Re: Moneymaker - 3 years later
People just seem way too intent on mocking him for being lucky. Yeah he's not the best player ever to win a WSOP but enough's enough.

Re: Moneymaker - 3 years later

[ QUOTE ] So I read his book and the one thing that really came through was that this fellow was a degenerate gambler in denial. His WSOP play involved a couple pushes with minimal outs along with some decent play. I was unimpressed. What's he done since? [/ QUOTE ] why does anyone care? [/ QUOTE ] I know it's been discussed to death, but it's because the book is a total train wreck. It reads like one of those hatchet-job unauthorized biographies, but incredibly was written by (or with) the subject himself. Have the OP haters actually read the book? |
