I play it the same and usually Bet/Call river. I think this way gets max value from a smaller A or weaker pair, and even two pair or trips will sometimes not raise the river, especially when the A hits. I do not like 3 betting the flop. My second option is to check/raise the turn. |

Besides losing to AA (only *ONE* possible hand combination) or a split pot, or the slight chance of 77 .... I'd say Hero has the best hand a large majority of the time. Secondly, what are your reasons for not liking a flop 3-bet? Adam |

I like to mix it up, although I 3bet the flop more frequently, because the hand plays out easier that way.

mix it up between options 1,2,3. Why in the world would you, OOP, not put more bets in on the flop and turn?

I always 3-bet on the flop but I can see a lot of high pp's calling down for one bet on the river if checked behind after failing to check-raise the turn...interesting hand.
