Re: Struggling with QQ
Hand 1 standard
Hand 2 wth you doing on the flop, if you decide to raise, try to get it all in. Hand 3 easy fold Hand 4 read dependant, I probably fold without one, but its close Hand 5 Dont overplay it preflop without history. Call and see the flop. |

Re: Struggling with QQ
Hand 1 - Fine.
Hand 2 - If you bet the flop like that, shove the turn. Hand 3 - Fold to the minraise on the turn, there's not much you beat. Hand 4 - Don't limp/rr if you don't want this to happen. Hand 5 - Just call his 3-bet and play position and see what happens. |

Re: Struggling with QQ
Hand 1:
I bet only 3$ preflop, as a result only 6 postflop, but generally I would take the same line most of the time... Hand 2: As your opponent minraises the flop I assume he either has a draw or a hand as strong as 2 pair/ set, this leads to the conclusion that your 3-bet on the flop is - I`m sorry - bulls***. You offer him 3:1 pot odds which means, that he won`t stop drawing. I think you either have to raise big or just call. Against an unknown I would prefere a call in order to play a small pot (don`t forget that you are kind of deep!). As played I fold the river. Hand 3: I like your bet on the turn! It`s much better than a check I think, because your opponent is very likely to tell you something about his hand. But please insta-fold to his min-raise!!! If his is bluffing here - well s*** happenes, but most of the time he has you beaten. Hand 4: 5$ 3-beting is way to big considering your stack sizes. Make it to 4 is enough to deny him the proper odds to call for set value, it also leaves you much more room to get out if you think you are beaten and it`s more likely that your opponent will call with AJ / AQ / AK which is good for you. I personally would fold to his shove, if I hadn`t seen him shoving with hands like TT/JJ/AK/AQ before. Hand 5: This situation is similar to Hand 4 although it`s not the same. As I insta-fold to his shove in Hand 4, I don`t think going all-in here preflop (...but please push to his 3-bet! 4-beting ~40% of your stack is just ugly!) is wrong. In this situation only botton and small blind are involved and people are more likely to go all-in with a hand like AK/TT/JJ when the first 3 players have already folded. I personally only call his 3-bet. I do this mainly for set value but will also be willing to go all-in on a flop which doesn`t show one of the following cards: ten, jack, king and ace |
