Re: NFL games on TV/Horrible choices
Why can't they have NFL on demand where you could pay like 5 bucks a game or something and only watch the game that you wanted to see? Yeah, I know, they'd lose money vs. hosing people on the ticket but they'd probably end up with a lot more customers and make more in the long run. I personally would be willing to pay reasonable amounts of money to watch certain games, but cable is free at the apartments where I live so I can't justify getting a dish just for this purpose. Unfortunately, I now live in a market with several local teams so I no longer get the "game of the week" on basic cable like I did in my previous no-nfl team market, but instead crap regional games with [censored] teams.
Also, a lot of people get/can only get their internet through cable, which usually will make you pay for at least basic cable if you don't have it already. Getting a dish in this case means you end up paying for something twice which always sucks. |

how do I know if I will get the Pats-Colts game? I live in downtown LA, I checked TV Guide for 1:00 PM Sunday afternoon and it said NFL Football: Teams To Be Announced.... [/ QUOTE ] See the map above. Pretty much only people in areas that are contractually obligated to watch Houston and Oakland are watching. So, it's NorCal and Houston area that are the only unlucky ones. |

Re: NFL games on TV/Horrible choices
You're getting the Pats/Colts game, according to the506.com. I also saw a confirmation of SoCal getting the game on DBStalk.com: http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=107298

Re: NFL games on TV/Horrible choices
Looks like the Raider game isn't going to sell out. Meaning that all of California will now be showing the NE/IND game.
the506.com updated their map. |

At least you don't live in the NY metro and regularly get both time slots blocked out because of the f'ing Giants and Jets. [/ QUOTE ] Quoted for motherf'ing truth. I HATE this--every week I root for those two teams to either be on at the same time or else for one of them (i.e., the Giants) to be playing at night. I like the Jets, but I have no desire to watch a 2-10 team play a 4-8 team. |

Could be worse. You could live in England. I have to watch on yahoo sports which is ridiculously bad quality.

Re: NFL games on TV/Horrible choices
Not NFL, but right now ESPN is showing me the 4th quarter of the USF game instead of Oregon/ASU. Mega. Tilt.
