Default Re: $2.20 sattelite to Sunday 100k fold AKs preflop?

avg stack at payout is ~6k or something. blinds will be around 600-1200. 8k is a nice stack at this point.

raise/folding AKs is the worst option and makes me nauseous.

i would push up to ~14bbs i think... but any more than that, i would just call.

I don't think that 6K can be the average stack at the bubble. There are 50 left and the average stack right now is 5K. 29 seats means 21 more have to go before the seats. I'm pretty sure the average stack at the bubble has to be more like 8.6K.

I'd be awfully tempted to shove here, but if you figure you can get some FE in a better spot, you are probably better off waiting for that. You only need about 1 more BB to be in pretty good shape.

Sherman

Edit: I'd just shove it in here and fold in after this pot.

I actually raised to 1500 which in hindsight seems a little small for the current pot.

What's the best line to take here?

A/I on this flop. I don't really see another good option.

With my experience playing these... Your play is just asking for trouble.

8K is a TON at this point in the $2.20's.

When the blinds get higher, the table obviously gets super tight and it's easy to maintain a decent stack until the bubble breaks.

You just need to pick up the blinds every now then (Easy and low risk). After this, just fold fold fold into the money.

If I put together an 8K stack in one of these, I get a ticket everytime.

Just push preflop. There is at least 1600 out there. You are pushing for 20% gain. I would push a lot worst than AKs here. As played, just shove flop, 2 overs and nut flush draw... what more do you want from a hand?
