Re: Missed Flush with TPTK. Spew?
When I think about it the way MoonOrb explained it makes way more sense why I should be betting in those spots. I have a high AF (definitely too high) and I wanted to get this checked by people who know more than me

Or where/in what book can I find out why they are good value bets? [/ QUOTE ] Small Stakes Hold 'em - by Miller, Sklansky & Malmuth IMO, read it at least twice |

Re: Missed Flush with TPTK. Spew?
good value betting. I would tend to lean more towards bet/fold on the river, as my experience with LP players tells me that they tend to slow play their big hands (eg a flush) and raise on the river. Most of the time you'll be beat with their raise.

Re: Missed Flush with TPTK. Spew?
Speaking of SSHE (or rather their charts), isn't AJo in EP a call rather than a raise? Granted the kicker is only one rank lower so either this is a raise with better-than-novice skills, or this is a raise/fold approach. ITH also has this as a call.

Re: Missed Flush with TPTK. Spew?
I raise AJo UTG. I also raise ATo UTG oftentimes. As evident by my Vegas report I'm a bit weak tight with hands like AT and AJo in the blinds but other than that -- its not rocket science kids!
