I can't wait until you've been in the workforce for a year or two and no longer care about anything other than who is [censored] who in the office and where you're going to drown your sorrows after work on Friday.

right now that's what I'm terrified of most.

In all seriousness, try to find a company that is highly rated as a great place to work. Sometimes, no matter what you are doing there, you'll enjoy doing it because of your environment. If nothing else, this might give you an "in" for something else in the future more towards your liking at that company.

Do I love my job? No, but I get spoiled by working here (not nearly like Bison, though).

One thing I learned when I jumped from College to reality was that you shouldn't let money be THE DECIDING FACTOR in what you do.

Some careers I would have rather taken and still might go after later in life:

- teaching
- something in politics (not sure though)
- marketing

elevens,

that's a really good point that I hadn't thought of. but I kinda wonder how anyone gets anything done at google.

predator,

yeah I dunno if I said it earlier but doing what I love is way more important than money. my best friend from college is working at GE, makes about 60k a year, and hates her job. if I were in her position I would easily pay 20k a year to have a job I love.

diablo,

no, but my gimmick account was.

for the record that wasn't actually me.
