Is gas very toxic as far as the "poisoning" fear goes? Everything I've read says that gas companies add that smell to it to make it detectable so your house doesn't blow up, but I've never read anything along the lines of "they add the smell to keep you from breathing too much of it."

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, its not really. It can trigger asthma and breathing difficulties and such, but the major concern is the combustability, and thats why they add the rotten egg smell. If there were a lot of gas in the room, you might pass out because of lack of oxygen. I pretty much suck at titling threads. |

Your GF is adding is adding arsenic to your meals. She did the gas thing as a clever decoy. Up the ante with a sodium pentathol injection this evening. This should allow you to get to the bottom of all this.

I dont know if I have the acting chops to pull of "blown to smithereens guy." |

[ QUOTE ] Either you or your girlfriend drink heavily or do drugs? Does your girlfriend have any reason to be really pissed at you (ie you cheated on her and maybe she found out)? [/ QUOTE ] We both drink but we haven't been drunk in at least a week or so. Neither of us do drugs. Haven't cheated, she is pretty jealous in general but nothing specific. This is her, btw: ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Looks guilty to me. |

Tonight, or whenever, go into your apartment, set the three burners exactly as they were when the maintenance guy showed them to you, and then go outside your apartment and stand in the corridor. Time how long it takes for you to smell gas. |

Not to mention i dont really know what dangerous levels are but if I dodged a bullet this morning I dont really feel like pressing my luck. |
