range for a play like this Ax,bluff,draw, AA,77,TT,AT,A7.

Why would he want to scare you away with his sets? AT,A7 maybe. I still see a draw and Ax being a majority of his range. I call.

why would he play a set any other way? You basically tell him you have an A. He can't just call because you could have it with a flush draw. If he pots he leaves 60$ behind and knows that if you call 100$ you will be commited to go allin anyway, so why shouldn't he go allin leaving you guessing and talking yourself into a call because "why would he play a strong hand like that"


Is there enough bad players at 1/2 level for this to be a worse hand often enough to be profitable? Maybe but I guess there can not ne much profit (if any) in the long run.
