Re: Need help on turn line
[ QUOTE ]
However don't ever call with this hand in mid position full ring. Your only prayer is to catch a flush draw with this hand. I probably wouldnt play this gappy bastard in 6max. [/ QUOTE ] Hands with gaps can't make nut straights anymore? I didn't get the memo! Limping this is fine, I even raise quite often if it's double-suited. |

Re: Need help on turn line
Wazz are you serious? Sure gappy hands can make nut straights, how often is the real question. If you raised A-3-5-7 double suited mid-position in a full ring game I dont think thats a great play. I probably would raise that double suited on the button in a six max game.

Re: Need help on turn line
I see no point in raising. The guy has 8 bucks left, so I see no fold equity. He'll call river bet when you hit because he'll be getting good enough odds. Why do we want to raise the turn? We are currently behind his range. We could probably find a fold on the river if it blanks and will probably get paid off everytime when we hit.

Obvious flop repot. [/ QUOTE ] FYP. Seriously, what do you think he's betting < 1/2 the pot with here? Either a draw or a really weak made hand. If you raise here, you've got a very good chance of winning the pot right away and even if you don't, you can always take a free card on the turn. |
