I agree that you can call here and get another bet out of a guy with top pair. This is NL25 for goodness sakes.

...snip...
I prefer a button raise with this sort of hand, though. You aren't going to make a hand and get paid off often enough to limp here. You need to exercise your positional advantage as well.
...snip...

Misread the original line, thought it was limped. Doh. In this case, I actually prefer a button fold. You aren't deep enough to make a hand when the pot already starts big.

Default nice call you dumb F@#$!

i called, hit flush on turn, viliian bet 5$ i pushed, he called. i survived the river. and then villian said this. "nice call on the preflop and flop you DUMB PHCK!" i told him to rebuy and i would lose some more back to him . he promptly left. i was thinking about what he said to me... maybe i was a "DUMB PHCK" so i posted the hand here. i think the flop call was bad but barely so... if he had only purchased more chips while he was on tilt, perhaps then the call would have been +ev.

[ QUOTE ]
Never call ... make it $9 and fold to a shove or fold right here

I'm ok with either

[/ QUOTE ]

You can't raise and then fold. Thats just terrible poker.

OP, with your read I can't see doing anything other than calling.
