Re: 6.50 to raise or to call? itm decision
That's fine, if you have a read that he limps then calls a raise then a check is more then fine. More often then not they either fold pf, or call and fold the flop. KT is a pretty good hand 3 handed.

Re: 6.50 to raise or to call? itm decision
At a 6.50, this is random crap so many times it hurts. Maybe A6 not realizing his two pair is counterfeited.
Putting villain on only AJ and QJ is absolutely insane. A flush is more likely than a boat on this board. Get the money in, you're playing for first itm, remember? |

Re: 6.50 to raise or to call? itm decision
Any more elaborate read on villian? Like how he got half the chips in the tourney? To me you have the nuts, save for a runner runner boat or flush, or QJ. I'd shove vs. a random 6.50er. If he's been very solid or a known solid villian then a call is fine. Your line to the river is perfect IMO. Worse hands (AQ for example) will call here.
Edit: AQ is a bad example, that's raising pf even for the worst of villians. My point was hands like a set or 2 pair will probably call a shove. |

Re: 6.50 to raise or to call? itm decision
[ QUOTE ]
allow me to elaborate: basically, I feel like this is not a value bet with a worse hand. This is either a slowplayed full house or a complete bluff. A boat wont fold and a bluff wont call. So I figured a call was the proper action. [/ QUOTE ] This is pretty powerful read for the standard $6.50 opponent. In other words, I'd expect many of them to play an A or J like it's the nuts here. Plus, they called the flop presumably with something. Making the backdoor flush less likely. I think it's close but raising is probably ok. |

OMG, Ax like all the time. Thought OK, but not in tune with reality.
