Yea, a shove looks great here, though I admit I probably wouldn't have the balls to do it myself

ugh that was the only out i felt like i couldnt fold to

btw, your turn raise reps the same as a flop raise imo.

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf are you talking about? you're just trying to find a justification for not folding IMO. turn raise reps 2 pair hands as well as 8T (as well as draws that picked up outs, obv)

given what i was holding (TT) 8T was very unlikely. most big hands he raises on the flop. 76 (and the rare 8T) are pretty much the only made hands I have to worry about, and I have a lot of outs vs 76. the only reason i didnt shove the turn was because I felt he might bluff off the rest of his stack on a blank turn (or on a turn that gave me the straight).

maybe im crazy though

ok then so from my spot

folds around to me in the SB w/ T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I raise to 18, BB calls.

flop is 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
pot=34
i bet 27, BB calls.

turn is 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
pot=88
I bet 65, he raises to 192
this is a fold then for me? a shove? a call?
i think at this point i like shoving the best

Your justification for your line? He double barrels the turn w/ too wide of a range?

[/ QUOTE ]

I raise the flop in this spot almost always, but I wanted to disguise my hand since Baluga knows that a raise from me on this flop is usually a draw. Also, this line looks sick strong IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]

your line doesn't look good actually, you'd raise most of your strong hands on the flop

I can see why you would raise the turn, a medium overpair or suited str8 draw seems most likely options. There is some FE, and mostly it would seem to convey confusion to the villian which may get a payoff if the draw hits or an ace hits. Definitely value in shoving could get paid off by 10-10 or J-J.

I don't like the turn raise that much because if he shoves we cannot call.
