Default Re: When do you abandon ship? Or do you fight to the end??

I play it all 3 ways, it depends. I'm never sure what is best so I end up choosing my line somewhat randomly/somewhat based on board coordination. I'd love to see some guidelines on when to call flop, call down; 3-bet flop, bet turn, free sd; fold (flop or turn based on bkdoor outs)

Anyone happen to have this handy?

"What am I hoping to get by betting?" This board is completely drawless.

So you want to check the flop through with a vulnerable pocket pair and give two opponents a free chance to catch one of three additional overcards to your pair (or whatever other outs they might have).

If someone calls, you can't be very happy either.

When I just get called here I am usually quite happy. Everything is going according to plan so far. Now getting checkraised OTOH kind of sucks.

Even if the board dosn't have straight or flush draws, you are vulnerable to overcards. I am happy if they fold king jack.
