Re: Various Ruling Questions Please
#1 - based on experience, it is a call of $45. Action was on him, he made a clear declaration (verbal binding).
#2 - Only a winning hand 'has' to be tabled, anything else is optional. IWTSTH not withstanding (it will come up here more than any other time imo). #3 - Player deserves to get Capone'd. #4 - He gets chewed out by the floor and his hand is live. He does it again, it won't be considered 'accidental' and I'd expect a penalty. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Good ones will, every time. [/ QUOTE ] Really? We have different opinions of good. [/ QUOTE ] Agree [/ QUOTE ] Definitely aggree with the differing definitions of good, BUT . . . . as more and more players find out that they can ask to see showndown mucking hands, with no regard for the "unwritten rule" players might as well show the bad news and then prepare to use the image now taken by the opponents. I played last night and EVERY single hand that went to showdown was requested to be seen by, suprisingly an over 75 year old man. AND MOST OF THOSE HANDS HE HAD FOLDED PREFLOP. Talk about situational BS. As for the all in player showing his hand with two players remaining with $$ to bet, "wanting" to show your hand would be as situational as any other decision, if you think you have an aggro player beat and he might bluff with an empty side pot, DONT SHOW HIM HE IS BEAT, let him try and bluff the other player out. Cash strategies are very different from tournament. |
