How many keeper per year? I like keeping with your current lineup and not moving much with it.

Another trade need thoughts.

Crawford + rags for Brandon Philips, Willy Taveras and Valerde.

Crawford is the best player in the deal, but Taveras and Valverde aren't exactly chopped liver. How deep is your league (i.e., what kind of players are currently available on the waiver wire)? I assume it's non-keeper.

Would y'all rather have Victorino or Bonderman for the rest of 2007, in a 13-team 5x5 non-keeper league? Assume that I have no special need in any category.

Its a keeper league, but I also have Holliday and Sizemore so Crawford is definitely expandable. Theres nothing really on the waiver wire that will address my team's needs.

I personally like Bonderman alot (I could've done Bonderman for Valverde and Tarveras but declined), but Victorino is no slouch.

Bonderman Papelbon Cain Lugo

For

Johan Upton & 2 Toss Ins (Likely Two out of Crisp, Salty, Olsen and Glavine)

Its a long term keeper keep 8. I don't think this is enough, but im starting to get worried about Uptons insane BABIP.

Thoughts?

That is plenty of value. I would much rather have the master and Upton in a keeper league. Would you be planning on keeping Cain if you did not make this trade?

I have Upton and Johan. I can maybe get one more decent swap thrown in, but i think this is his max. I am in 2nd place in a 12 team h2h league if that helps. I can switch Bonderman for Verlander as well.

If i did this deal my keeper options would be...

Bonderman, Cain, Papelbon, Hughes, Nathan, M. Cabrera, Glaus, Wells, Damon, Bay, Salty, Youk

I would try to package someone else with Upton, if you are trying to get rid of him. You aren't getting enough back for Johan.

The way I initially interpreted your post was that you were getting Johan and Upton. As an fyi, X for Y implies you have X and are trading for Y.

I don't think you're getting enough back for Johan as is. If you are worried about Upton's BABIP, check for teams who want Upton. I'm sure there are a lot.

Johan Glavine Olsen F Sanchez

For

Bonderman Verlander Papelbon Lugo

? That seams much better and gives me a good backup to Upton.
